Doctoral School funding for UGent PhD students

This information only applies to Doctoral students of Ghent University.

The Doctoral School (DS) of Life Sciences and Medicine offers financial support to doctoral students of Ghent University attending the Training Course. No DS funding is available for travel/accommodation costs or the registration fee for the conference. This means:
-For doctoral students attending only the Training Course, the registration fee of 50 euro can be reimbursed after the meeting;
-For doctoral students attending the Training course and the full meeting, only the 50 euro of the Training course (which is included in the registration fee) can be reimbursed.

As a Doctoral student of Ghent University, you can gain study points for the doctoral training programme if:

• you present a poster or oral communication during the conference, not if you passively attend the conference. More information on http://www.ugent.be/doctoralschools/en/lsm/training/research-activities/lsm.htm
• you attend the Training Course (1 study point in the category 1 the doctoral training programme)
